Terms of Service

1. Parties and Acceptance

These Terms of Service are between you and the operator of SimulTranslate AI (同声传译AI): the Company. Email: wutengfei214312@gmail.com.

Read these Terms before use, particularly the emphasized provisions on service limits, membership calculations, deletion and liability. Acceptance occurs through an explicit agreement action in the app. See the Privacy Policy for personal information and the Auto-Renewal Agreement for recurring subscriptions. Accepting these Terms alone does not authorize a purchase or recurring payment.

Minors should use the service with guardian guidance and obtain permission before purchasing. Services involving information about children under 14 also require the applicable guardian consent and special protections. Do not activate such services or submit children’s information before those conditions are met.

2. Service and Availability

The Product provides live speech recognition, translation, source / translated text display and translated audio playback, with session controls on supported systems. Available languages, directions, audio modes and features are shown in the current app and service. They can differ by platform, region, distribution channel and version.

Interpretation needs a network connection, suitable device capabilities, microphone permission and valid service entitlement. Browsing the app or a free home screen does not grant free interpretation time. A trial applies only when the store offers it and confirms eligibility.

Automated speech and AI results may contain recognition errors, omissions, changed meaning, delays or interrupted audio. Have medical, legal, financial, safety-related and other important information checked by someone with the appropriate expertise. Do not rely solely on the Product for those decisions. It is not an emergency response or certified professional translation service and does not guarantee accuracy.

Some generated speech may preserve a speaker’s vocal characteristics. Obtain necessary authorization and do not impersonate others or mislead recipients. Current services do not include camera or photo recognition, OCR, or a separate typed-text translation feature.

3. Accounts and Security

Use a registration or sign-in method supported by your version, provide necessary accurate information and protect your account and device. Do not sell, rent or use another person’s account, purchase evidence or benefits without authorization. Contact us promptly about abnormal access, incorrect binding or other security issues.

A store account and a Product account are separate. An order or subscription validly bound to a Product account cannot be moved to another Product account by restoring purchases. Check your signed-in Product account before purchasing. Changing store accounts does not automatically merge Product accounts.

We may use proportionate identity checks or temporary restrictions for suspected unauthorized activity, with reasonable explanations and an appeal route. This does not remove your legal account, property or consumer rights.

4. Membership and Purchases

Versions supporting purchases may offer weekly, yearly or other displayed subscriptions. Products, prices, currencies, billing periods, offers and trial eligibility are governed by the store confirmation screen and applicable terms. A channel without a purchase entry does not support that purchase flow. The presence of HarmonyOS or domestic Android apps does not mean native payment is available.

Verified valid paid periods are credited to the same Product account. Eligible Apple and Google orders can contribute to that account’s shared balance; duplicate orders and overlapping periods within one subscription are not credited twice. Trials do not add paid time. Store-confirmed trial or grace eligibility applies within its relevant window and does not pause an existing paid balance.

Starting payment, awaiting approval or awaiting verification does not mean delivery is complete. Benefits refresh after verification. For a delay, use restoration or contact us. The available end time is based on verified transactions; you can request investigation of an error.

Turning off renewal, reaching the end of a store period or a failed charge does not itself erase confirmed accumulated paid time. Refunds or revocations can reduce the corresponding time as described in the Auto-Renewal Agreement. Restoring an old order does not grant a previously consumed period again from the restoration date.

5. Session Limits and Acceptable Use

Membership remains subject to reasonable session, concurrent-connection, device and network limits. A current session cannot exceed 30 minutes and may be shorter because of remaining entitlement or displayed service limits. You may start another session if you still have entitlement and the service permits it. We do not promise unlimited concurrent use or uninterrupted operation on every network.

You must have lawful rights to submitted content and obtain other speakers’ permission as required by law. Do not violate privacy, intellectual property or other rights; engage in fraud, impersonation or unlawful distribution; attack the service; bypass identity or payment restrictions; conduct abusive bulk use; or compromise security.

Where moderation is enabled, the system may hide matched content or stop related translated audio. Mistakes can be reviewed through feedback or our contact email. We will take necessary and proportionate action based on evidence and impact; an automated match alone does not establish that you acted unlawfully.

6. Intellectual Property and Content Permission

Rights in the software, interface, branding and documentation belong to their lawful owners. Subject to these Terms, we grant the non-exclusive, non-transferable permission needed to use the Product. Activities permitted by mandatory law are not improperly restricted.

Using the service does not transfer the lawful rights you or others have in submitted content to us. You authorize us and necessary providers to process it for recognition, translation, playback, security moderation and questions you actively raise, subject to the Privacy Policy. This is not a blanket authorization to use all conversations for unrelated commercial purposes or general model training.

Rights in AI-generated results and permitted uses depend on applicable law, input rights and third-party rights. We do not guarantee exclusivity or intellectual-property protection for every result. Follow applicable synthetic-content labeling requirements and do not misrepresent generated audio as an original recording or a certified human translation.

7. Changes, Interruptions and Termination

Maintenance, network failures, device limits and provider changes can affect the service. We will take reasonable steps to restore it and give advance notice of planned material changes where practicable.

Restrictions for a security incident, clear abuse or a legal requirement should remain necessary and proportionate, with reasons and an appeal route where permitted. If we discontinue the service or cannot fulfill a paid commitment, we will provide legally required notice and address unfulfilled benefits and refunds due. General update provisions do not remove your refund or other statutory rights.

You may stop using the service or request deletion. Once deletion completes, the original account cannot be restored, orders and remaining benefits do not automatically move to a new account, and store renewal is not automatically canceled. Before deletion, read the cancellation instructions and contact wutengfei214312@gmail.com about remaining benefits or refunds. Retention of necessary records is explained in the Privacy Policy.

8. Liability and Consumer Rights

We provide the service under these Terms, express purchase commitments and applicable law, and remain responsible for our legal obligations. You are responsible for your unlawful or infringing use to the extent determined by the facts, fault, causation and applicable law.

Accuracy and availability disclosures do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, failure to perform statutory duties or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. These Terms do not remove mandatory consumer protections, privacy rights, statutory withdrawal or refund rights, or remedies for personal injury. They do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule.

9. Applicable Rules, Disputes and Updates

Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined under the relevant legal rules. These Terms do not exclude mandatory consumer protection available in places such as your habitual residence, or require you to waive legal action or complaints. Contact wutengfei214312@gmail.com to try to resolve a dispute; if unresolved, seek relief from a competent court or authority.

Apple or Google store, payment and platform-license services are also subject to their relevant terms. These Terms govern the Product service we provide. Any conflict is addressed according to law and the subject concerned, without reducing mandatory protection.

We will publish updated versions and prominently disclose material changes to charges, benefits or important obligations. Where renewed acceptance is required by law or contract, the change applies after that acceptance. We will not retroactively reduce validly purchased benefits. Chinese and English versions should be consistent; a translation difference should not reduce your statutory rights. Contact us if you find a discrepancy.
